Thursday April 1st, There will be a test over Chapter 15, Political and Social Change in the New South. This is a long chapter and there are 6 LTMIs in the chapter!!! The test will be multiple format, 50 questions. Unfortunately, this is NOT, I repeat NOT an April Fools joke!!!

Georgia History Classes are currently studying Chapter 15, Political and Social Change in the New South.

They are required to complete all of the Locating the Main Ideas in the chapter. This assignment will be due at the beginning of the test over this chapter.

All "Locating the Main Ideas" from Chapter 14 will be due at the time of the exam!!!

The World History Mid-Term will cover Chapter 15 sections 1 (Pp.365-368) and 3 (Pp. 373-376). It will also cover Chapter 16 sections 1 (Pp. 386-388), 2 (Pp. 389-393), and 3 (Pp. 394-397).

Homework is to be answered in complete sentences using blue or black ink .

Georgia History Mid-term Exam will be Comprehensive!!!

The Georgia History Mid-term will be comprehensive covering chapters 12, 13, and 14. In addition, there will be questions from the unit covering Antebellum architecture. Chapter 14, "Reconstruction Comes to Georgia", will be covered extensively. Only the more important elements of the previous two chapters and the architecture unit will be covered.

Georgia History and World History notebook checks will take place next week during exams. Notebooks count 20% of a student's overall grade. ONE CANNOT OVERSTATE THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING WELL ON THE NOTEBOOK CHECK!
